Exmoor Pubs - Pubs in Dunster 
Exmoor Pubs in Dunster Village 
   - Stags Head Inn,  As far as Exmoor pubs go The Stags is up there. Excellent beers, excellent service and a charming setting.  Set in West street it has a quiet beer garden. 
   - The Castle - Under going rennovation under new management we hope this popular village pub is open in August 2007.
   - The Luttrells - More a hotel than pub but the bar, in what was the old kitchen, the excellent exmoor pub beer garden with views across to the castle and deer park.

  Accommodationis available in all the pubs in Dunster on Exmoor. 


Exmoor Pubs - Pubs around Dunster 

 
There are typical Exmoor pubs in the surrouding villages to Dunster. 
 - The Lion at Timberscombe.  A charming atmosphere and good range of food. This pub is 10 minutes drive from Dunster through Exmoor's stunning Aville Valley.  A 1-2 hour walk from Dunster to Timberscombe is just the ticket on a nice day. Or park in Timberscombe, walk to Dunster for lunch and then hike back.  Plenty of routes available. 
-   The Royal Oak Luxborough and the Valiant Soldier in Roadwater.
If you are looking for a day out a 2-3 hour hike to Luxborough and roadwater can be broken up with lunch at these two charming pubs.  Both pubs are hidden deep in the forest filled valleys. 
- Exmoor is home to over 20 fine pubs. Most of which can be accessed within 30 minutes to 1 hours country drive from Dunster.  Making Dunster the ideal base for the culinary minded.

   - The Luttrells  The Luttrell arms in Dunster has a restaurant area that produces some of the best hotel restaurant cuisine in Exmoor. (Visit Dunster member).  
   - The Yarn Market Hotel - A mouth watering selection of dishes await you at the end of the day.  The Yarn market is home to a variety of special events throughout the year. (Visit Dunster member). 
  - Hathaways Restaurant - An huge selection of dishes will leave you at a loss as to what to order from this extensive Exmoor restaurant. (Visit Dunster member).

Exmoor is home to a host of restaurants.  Leaflets are available in Dunster detailing some of the best cusine that the area has to offer. 

From michelin stars to kebab delivery.  All can be found within 30 minutes to 1 hour drive of Dunster.  

Ask your Dunster accommodation host for reccomendations on the many Exmoor restaurants available.
