Higher Orchard
Higher Orchard Bed and Breakfast Dunster
Higher Orchard is a charming Victorian house, built in 1864, in the unique medieval village of Dunster. Within the Exmoor National Park, the house stands in an elevated position, looking over the village and church towards the castle. Although in a very quiet location on the edge of the village, two minutes walk from the house takes you to the village centre with its shops, pubs and excellent restaurants.

Graham's family have lived in Dunster for almost a century and he has good knowledge to help you make the most of your time in this beautiful area. As well as it's ancient castle, Dunster still retains it's well known Yarn Market (1609); Water Mill (Still working) and Packhorse Bridge. Higher Orchard was built on ground adjacent to the orchards of the Benedictine Priory (founded in 1009). The Dovecote and Tithe Barn, are also part of the Priory, are just down the street. close to the home.
